Network for Maximum Marketing Power

Networking: Name Recognition

When you meet someone new, do they remember your name? Do you remember theirs?

Sometimes you do, but more often you don’t.

Networking means you remember, you recognize, and you refer others to their businesses. This process of promoting your Business Network incorporates professionalism into your ‘friend making process’ and negates counting on memory to help you retrieve information. Learn to network properly and become a promoter within your Business Networking Circle.

Exposure

The first big step in Business Networking: Get out there. Put a smile on your face, introduce yourself, and expose yourself to people. In business networking, half the power of arriving is just in being “out there”. Marketing your product, marketing your services, or marketing yourself all include the initialization of exposure. It’s called Business Networking because you interact with others.

Name Recognition

In order to get name recognition, your name has to be out there, publicized, and remembered. The more your name is seen “out there”, the more recognizable it will be. Once your name is recognized, your options broaden, and the possibilities become endless. Networking works best with name recognition.

Brand Your Name

Build on Name Recognition by Branding your Name. Once you’ve begun to network and build a reputation, use that recognition factor to become a Name Brand. Be recognized by your name. Factor in a significant design logo that establishes a connection between what you do and your name, and you’ve got a Business Card worth Brandishing.

Network

When you meet people, give them a business card. Be prepared to tell them what you do. Give them a marketing spiel that brings them back to your card thinking, “Great, I’m going to call this guy!” The 10 second Elevator Speech should be committed to memory and packed with powerful action words. You want them to walk away gasping for air from exposure to your Personal Statement.

Ask about them, get their card, ask what they do, and note their information. Make a contact. Next day, give them a call, tell them you were glad you had an opportunity to get to know them, and ask if there’s anything you can do to help them meet their goals.

Market

Your objective, as ever, is to make a sale. After you offer to help them, you get an idea of what they need that you might have. Provide it. Give them what they want. Meet the needs of your clients and they will be back.

Your business will expand. Profits will increase. And you, my friend, will have made a new friend.

Are You Network Marketing Exposed

Category: Marketingadmin @ 1:01 am

Network marketing, also known as referral marketing and multilevel marketing, has always been a great way to get the word out about any business. No matter if you are selling a product or a service, with network marketing you can increase your sales in no time at all. And in today’s day and age, network marketing is more effective than ever before.

In the past, network marketing was a great way to make contacts as well as sales, but this has grown much more than anybody, including well-known business economists such as Paul Zane Pilzer, could have ever expected. Dare I say, that if you do not take advantage of network marketing, you will never really reach your fullest potential, socially and business-wise.

If you do not know what network marketing is, there is no reason to give up. The fact of the matter is that network marketing is quite easy to understand; it is exactly what it sounds like. With network marketing you get your name out there by talking with other people, and making industry contacts. The more people that you know, the better chance you have of making sales. And remember, the contacts that you make have contacts of their own - their own spheres of influence. So in time, word begins to spread about your offerings.

Network marketing is all about getting in touch with the people that can help you out the most, and vice-versa. Of course your number one target should be people in your direct industry. In other words, people that would be interested in buying and benefitting from your product are the primary people that you should network with.

The best way to get started in network marketing is by making yourself accessible to a large amount of people. Believe it or not, social networking sites such as MySpace.com and Ryze.com have become quite popular for individuals and businesses alike. With these services you can introduce yourself to millions of people without ever having to do too much work. And of course with each person that you meet, you have added yet another person to your own network.

The good thing about network marketing is that you may not make a sale today from somebody that you meet. But down the line that same person may be looking for a product or service and remember the conversation that they had with you. But none of this is possible unless you get the word out, and are not afraid to network in a fairly aggressive manner.

If you want to make big profits, network marketing can help to put you on the right track. For many years businesses have been using network marketing as a way to reach the next level, and today this still holds true. Case in point, Top 100 firms like Amazon.com, Sprint, Dell, AT&T, etc. are now incorporating network marketing strategies aggressively in their promotional campaigns. And moreover, high-profile personalities such as The Donald (Trump), Robert Kiyosaki, Rick Thomas, Carl Lewis, Warren Buffet, etc., are directly involved in network marketing companies to boot!

Generally speaking, network marketing does not cost a thing. Basically, all you really have to do is find people to network with and get started. It does not get much easier, and cost efficient than that.

A great place to start, would be to peruse sites like myspace and ryze.com and blog directories and sites such as technorati.com and mlmunshredded.blogspot.com (sample blog site). Notice the various links and points of contact.

So go ahead and take your social and business game to the next level, with effective network marketing. Your leveraged results will be measurably exponential!

Marketing 101 Reliability Counts

Category: Marketingadmin @ 2:11 am

We have said it before; if you volunteer to do something make sure you do it. The same is true of being dependable for showing up when you have agreed to be at a specific location. Can you imagine having a group of volunteers agreeing to cook a meal for the elderly and the crew does not show up? I have been to events where people have had to scramble to fill a crucial spot at an event by doing more than one job. Do not be that person that is deemed unreliable for being on time and in place as agreed. The best way to make sure you are reliable is to confirm the day before the event about what your duties will be and where and when you will be meeting. Many people forget to do the confirmation and find that their job, time and location have been changed. You may be thinking that the organization should be communicating the changes but often this falls through the cracks and some unsuspecting volunteer gets lost in the process.

If you are always there on time you will gain a reputation of being dependable. Those around you will know that they can rely on you to get things done. It will free them up to accomplish other tasks. If you have ever helped set-up an event such as a seminar, you will know how much work happens behind the scenes. When you take the seminar, it always looks seamless. In reality it’s those who volunteer to do the work that knows what is missing. The number of errors or mishaps can be minimized if everyone who volunteers actually shows up and does their job.

Do not be the person that does not show up without letting someone know there is a problem. Be reliable and let others be confident in the fact that you will be there when you say you will be there.
